Avoid sugar,ati na kare, fruit -1) Soak Almond Idli poha dosa omlette homestyle fruits. Homemade ragi,millets, chawal roti.keep it fresh keep it local. Regionable reasonable..

Sodium is also very important if u stop eating ultra prossed foods .... half baked knowledge...very disappointing Fats n protein r essential Carb r not essential...body can make that .... Lack of intellectual questions.... Veg. Protine 😢...think about insulin resistance n resarch

Overall a good episode but I respectfully disagree on vegetarian protein sources. The challenge with these options are either incomplete profile of protein or having high carbs with such protein sources. Bottom line we need to be mindful and aware of protein sources and quantity of the same. Sprouts are good options.

Bht accha laga. Sanjeev ji is an intelligent speaker. He communicates with ease, simplicity and relevance. It's clear of his rich knowledge and passion of food and diet. Gunjan, your questions were relevant and rightful. You weren't annoying like other hosts who dress up and sit and open their mouth to look dumb. Liked it a lot, thank you🎉

Actually, it's true that when Maa used to watch Khana Khazana, I never liked it. But when I had to cook for my family, I started watching Chef Kapoor and enjoying his cookery shows.

Rice roti is bad because it's starch is not removed by boiling, rice if you don't want it to eat it as rice than do fermentation and make dosa and imli i.e. tartaric acid with sambar to digest the starch of rice.

Sanjeev Kapoor I think is very sorted and best person to advise a common mans diet rather than nutritionist ..bcz if you maintain normal diet well and in moderation then you may not need nutritionist only ..

wonderful conversation, When i came to this world in 90's only chef Sanjeev Sir i jheard his name who made india so proud becuase of his food varieties.. Few things has been discussed here i can completely resonate as when i started watching Satvic movement/fit tuber i understood true food philosophy.. If possible Pls bring Vivek (fituber) and Satvic Movement founder Subah/Harsh Jain as i saw himeesh ji pic when i joined Satvic workshops founder Subah jain shown one pic from delhi naturopathy where himeesh ji there as well.. Eat this, light and nutritious. -first thing Warm water with half lemon squeezed -Breakfast bowl with apple,banana,carrot, handful of walnuts. Oats with honey. -Lunch millets instead of rice half spoon ghee, bowl of any soaked and cooked lentil or channa, big bowl of healthy tempered cooked vegetable like bhindi, palak saag or Karela or broccoli, bowl of yogurt -snack of nuts and 2 dates -Dinner bowl of any fresh soup, sautéed paneer with 2 ( preferably gluten-free)roti or 2 dosa with veggie stew. -drink 2 liters warm water minimum during day not during meals.

One very important point to consider for vegetarians is incomplete and complete protein. Most veg foods like dals have incomplete protein, so if eaten alone it will change into fat in the body. Dals, beans, peas, etc need to be eaten with cereals like rice, wheat, millets etc. Only then you get the protein. Otherwise your body makes sugar, fat and urea from incomplete proteins. Eating dal and salad without rice or roti is not good.
