I am an American who feels it too. When I was a kid in the 60s I built models of American, Japanese and British warships. Anchors Aweigh, Rule Britannia and the Warship March played in my head as I worked. This March is a great song for a Great Navy!

So nice to see the two countries as close friends instead of bitter enemies.
Even though in the past we had some dark moments. The generations growing up in the United States greatly respect Japan and are proud to call you our friends.
I know the words as well. I like all the SETOGKUCHI'S musics.. In fact I love all gunkas. I like old Japan which most of people think was so bad. But it was really nice, I had a good childhood and good education in Japan. Even though I lost house and everything, still I like old Japan.
If I die in the ocean, I shall be a corpse washed away in the tide. And if I die in the mountain, I shall be a corpse buried in the snow. But if I die for my emperor, I shall die knowing that I have done right.
