"Gunners Heaven" known in Europe as "Rapid Reload" is a run and gun video game developed by Media.Vision (Wild Arms) for the PlayStation in 1995. Yeah.. great game. I like it more than Gunstar Super Heroes. GBA just doesn't get along with Treasure games. It's too weak for their games.

Yeah I can sorta see Gunstar Heroes with the similar weapons and numerical boss health. But these bosses lack the hilarity of that game.

Well it does look similar to gun star heroes. Man I wish they continued with that title, for that's bloody amazing. But not like the GBA one for that one was a disappointment.

One of the games I mentioned in the Demon Front video. This is a great game by the Wild Arms people. It's important to note the date in which this game came out and the games Media.Vision were releasing back then. They were some of the first people to publish things in the PS1 and had a lot of projects that shifted development from one console to another in the last moment. I love this game and was glad the first time I saw it in one of racketboy's hidden gems articles. Great gameplay as always Serg, I always used the guy that looks like Rudy though.

Fuuuuu... Just beat it. What a rush. My heart was pounding after I beat the airship boss. Hardest boss in the game. This game reminds me of Alien Soldier. Lots of toggleing between guns and it plays like a boss rush.

That section may have been using bullet hell mechanics, wherein the actual hitbox for damage is smaller than the model.

The TOS -1 metal slug uses a lot of low res animation, surprised how they got this looking smooth on psx with limited memory, but my guess it was designed from scratch while metal slug isnt
