When you can do better from scratch than any resin upgrades available on the market, you can say you are a master. This is master level gorgeous on a mobile suit I don't even care for. Love it.

The video downplays this, but I think by far the most impressive thing is that everything is done to BOTH sides of the gundam. It's one thing to come up with the designs for one side, but copying it perfectly to the other side is on a whole other level. I doubt I could copy my scribbing from one side to another, but this guy is building out TWO new panels and wingtips to be exactly the same size?!? Unreal.

Dude, you are one of the only true custom builders I've seen make videos. You make significant changes and your own parts instead of just adding a weird paint job. Amazing work!

Simply stunning craftsmanship. That you even let us peek into the world of scribing on the level you're capable of, is an honor in itself. Here in the states, that'd be a closely guarded secret you wouldn't soon part with- just to keep competitions from being flooded with the technique. I don't mean that as negatively as it sounds; modelers the world over are a generally friendly, open-to- sharing kind of people... you just tend to keep SOME secrets to yourself, you know? Yet you give us a step-by-step look into the process, almost as if a gift. Thanks for that, by the way. Enjoy the coming weekend.

Here in the states, the 2 time US GBWC champion teaches these techniques live on youtube 2-3 times a week. There's no hoarding skills here.

I think, given the over-all tone of my previous comment, that you just might've missed the point, which happens a lot, as intent is hard to convey over text. I wasn't implying that we hoard all our secrets, nor was I speaking to any specific modelers- championship winners or not. Simply paying the man some respect for his skill set, and adding a little anecdotal side note for color. No harm, no foul.

I came to this video ready to absolutely flame you for saying this is a custom build when all it looked like you did was paint it. This however is so much more than just a paint build this is insane! The amount of detail you put into the build is next level this looks like what the actual base V2 should look like! I came to question you and now i'm subscribed with the notification bell on!
