@AROB3133 i dont play CoD just FYI and i know piercing the sonic barrier produces a hell of a bang but the not sonic round he is talking about should not make a bang like that or not?

@tommyjohnson142 makes it harder for enemies to tell where the shot came from. yes, the round is still subsonic, but it somewhat masks the origin of the shot

@OMGDiesel Its only to cover the muzzle flash and to not give away a person's position when firing. no gun can be perfectly silent and its a 50 BMG for petes sake.

@MinimeDrummerBoi It's a supressor. They don't completely negate sound. Used on some snipers to hide the flash.

@Saxamita It goes/spins at a speed so it becomes a recoil if you´ve ever heard a recoil before ;)

@Ryfasol actually 500ft per second is really slow. A .45acp round travels faster then that from a handgun. The .50 BMG, depending on the weight chosen, travels 2800 - 3000+ ft per second.
