Proof of this only a few years ago people used to say, "in a few minutes", then that became "one minute", nowadays it's "one second" or even "one sec (ie. half a second) please". Also, "one second" is definitely no time to even start a task, let alone complete one. The Eagles had a hit song called "In a New York Minute". How long does a typical "New York munute" last?
