To be fair those XRs have a ton of gears and they're all short. I got a friend commuting on a 250 right now and it's six gears between 0 and 80 mph, you spend a lot of time shifting on them. Now me on a Suzi TC90 I shift only 4 times on the street, and 4 off road, and I love it. So does he actually, they knew how to gear a 2 stroke in the 70's.

@@Arizona_Vineyard dual range transmissions, modern dirt bikes gear short so they can stay more in the power band and run faster off road while staying light. But that's why they suck on the road, having to shift four times to get to normal road speeds.

1971 ..and yeah, it was F'N AWESOME🤘!! Thing of it is..S*** was just as Bad as now: War? check! Drugs? check! Bullies? good luck findin a councilor, teacher, official, ADULT who gave a damn! Guns/Gangs? pft! checkity check -check! I grew up in Los Angeles-Long Beach, Ca where every night gunfire & tires seekin traction (in that order) were not only MY nightly lullabies but 85% of teenagers I knew. ...oh..plus we had to contend with that whole NUCLEAR ANNIHILATION THANG; where once a week we trained to do a "Duck and Cover" maneuver beneath our desks..cuz evidently the SURFACE of our hollow one piece chair/desk thingy's were impervious to Radioactive Fallout and *HEAT HOTTER THAN THE CENTER OF THE F'N SUN... ...but somehow we managed to have better than expected above mediocre childhoods.. surprisingly WITHOUT Facebook and that "Mechanism" it functions on, objectively speaking because...well...because we were WITHOUT "IT" hence most of everything we enjoyed was NEW! We couldn't tell ya what beautiful ambiguity was put we enjoyed it nevertheless. In 1988 a SPOILER was on the rear of a Porsche .. (or the one idiot on everyone's block who put it on his Mazda) ..and NOBODY knew goin in that "V was L's Dad!" (gotta keep this "spoiler-free" for those 8 folks). ...but that's not to say (as so many fellow Gen X's do) that THEN was better than NOW...cuz it ain't...it's just DIFFERENT. Night Street Shootings are now School Day Shootings ...and War hit OUR soil for the first time since '41. AND despite those that quote "we have the wealth of human knowledge at our fingertips and we use IT arguing with people we'll never meet and posting pictures of our cats" (in my case a dog) we also use "IT" for a greater good..like TRUTH for those who wish to seek it. ...and Bully's? yeah those sumbitches still exist but now those teachers, counselors, teachers, ADULTS...listen! and maybe a positive side affect/ripple of my Beautiful Ambiguity fading is where once there was ONLY speculation.. NOW WE MAY SEE WHAT TO BE HOPEFUL FOR. OK Admittedly...WTF? all this from a GN'R (Best Band Ever Incidentally) video?? I'll be honest I was going to end my comment with "..It Was Awesome" waaay back up there but ...I dunno.. now it seems more than ever a lot of young people feel like they missed out on something "Awesome".. which ...ok...ya did! lol buuut it PALES in comparison to what YOU WILL SEE within your lifetime. HELL..except for cable television and 91 octane..things didn't change so much for the average fella tech wise since 1940; until the microchip in 80's which didn't explode till 90's! MY POINT IS...for the 4 people who read "this lengthy" (something I've unfortunately never said in other circumstances) comment: Just cuz you were born when the second Bush was in office DOESN'T mean you don't have/will see __(enter "Awesome Future Event" here). I'm going to be 50 in a couple years and I'd give anything to be 30 again JUST to see the horizon of the technological possibilities.... ... ...i.e. MARS BITCHES!!🖖 Epilogue to an already Overwritten comment: A letter almost 2,000 years old was found at Hadrian's Wall (Modern Day English/Scotish Border) several years ago..it was from a wife in Rome writing her husband in the Roman Army who was positioned (deployed?) there; in it she said she needs MORE $ money for rent/necessities, how she missed him (love stuff) and MOST telling she mentions how "their children were being disrespectful and didn't obey like kids did when THEY WERE YOUNG"....Ha! ....goes to prove (with apologies to Mr. Dylan) The Times: Society/People..AIN'T A'CHANGIN (so much) only the Cut of Our Jeans and How We Communicate. *IT'S A FACT JACK: www.sciencefocus.com/space/have-scientists-ever-made-anything-hotter-than-the-sun/

@johnvincent27882 жыл бұрын
you talk as if they had the whole thing planned out befire the first was filmed. sarah was the centre of the plot back then. john was just 'back story' and i know how ironic that sounds. they put it out, seen how good it was and how well it was receiced and decided to milk it for as much as it was worth and that's when john became the primary protagonist, to keep the plot moving and the dollars flowing. why do you think theres so many ridiculous sequels? they still think its milkable evem thoughh cameron drew a line under it at the end it at the end of t2. greed flies in the face of everytbing particularly common sense

I was really hoping to see an older Edward Furlong entering the scene on an actual motorcycle with this song playing and knowing how to kick serious ass in Dark Fate, but I definitely knew about the CGI younger version and I was disappointed to see him die but at the same time I understand why they did it for multiple reasons and I still liked the movie and consider it the true third film, but not on the same epicness as the first two of course. I'm very neutral as far as John's death. Part of me feels like they could have kept him alive but used him for a real important purpose even though he fulfilled his legacy, he could have still been useful in other ways. Edward Furlong is the only version I like and that role will always be his legacy.
