LimCat RazorCat Shreds the Open Class

4 жыл бұрынSkulking about the GDC Vault, I happened upon a unique gun chambered in a unique round - the Limcat RazorCat. Shipping in .38 Super Comp, the Limcat brings an open class gun to those interested in hopping into USPSA style shooting.
Limcat comes courtesy of Johnny Limcat and his two sons who handcraft each and every gun. Parts are custom fitted to perfection with the RazorCat model no exception. Introduced a few years ago, the RazorCat model by Limcat offers an open class gun for competitive shooters stocked with upgrades.

I absolutely love my Limcat Razorcat. I have had it for a while in competition and it is just a joy to shoot. Kinda like driving a Ferrari or a Porsche. You just love to drive it. On this Limcat, I just love to pull the trigger.

I have an old sti racegun with the comp and even with +p ammo (the only thing that will cycle it) the muzzle doesn’t really move. Kinda the difference between shooting an ak compared to an ar.

She is not very knowledgeable on 38 super comp, it is just a true rimless 38 super.

Video shows that the compensator is terrible. Does nothing much to mitigate the muzzle rise or recoil compared to pistols that are 25 years older. Somebody is going to break a thumb with the side mounted slide racking lever. Have seen that straight trigger somewhere before?

It's not gonna break your thumb, but it might cut you if you're not aware of it. You can stick your thumb over the back of a striker gun and stop the slide from moving. It's not as much force as you'd think.

Comp not working well at all. The gun is rising far more than it should be doing.

Steve, I think that has more to do with the shooter. She does not appear to be very strong and is not gripping the firearm enough with her support hand, would be my guess. But you also have to consider that she is shooting major power factor, which is providing recoil impulses almost as much as a .357 magnum. When you consider someone with such small hands handling that much recoil with ease, the compensator is working AMAZINGLY well.

Ambaydextrious may be the worst pronunciation of ambidextrous I've heard in the gun world yet. People need to learn this word already. Cool gun though. But the sideways red dot kinda bugs me.
