Wow, Japanese commentary on a Chinese-American legend. I love how small this community actually is. I still have a 1911 "Bullseye" pistol that Bob built for my father in 1973. I have owned many custom pistols in the five decades since and in spite of many many thousands of rounds shot, it is still the most accurate of all. 2023 now and it holds 1.5 inch groups at 50 yards. It would compete today. Beyond his prowess as a shooter and gunsmith, Bob and his wife, Bobbie, were two of the kindest and most encouraging people you could ever meet. Thank you for showcasing this wonderfully tallented man. Bob should never be forgotten. Thank you also for keeping our world small in the very best way. Cheers!

Thank you for this video. I was in Elko Nevada USA and there is a museum there that has many Bob Chow pistols and other firearms.
My brother, when he joined the San francisco Police Department bought his first gun from Bob. I remember his shop as a kid. I remember he carried 2 smith and wesson J frame 38 specials in his 2 back pockets while in his shop. Had anyone attempted a robbery they would have been in for a big surprise. I also had a Colt Python that Bob worked on, has his name stamped inside, never should have sold the gun, I highly regret it now

Dan Thank you for your comment. l also wanted to see Python with a stamp of "CHOW".

My Dad had one as well. They were very difficult to work on, only a handful of gunsmiths were truly qualified. Bob was one of them.

最後の、if you like shooting, just keep shooting.
He and his wife, Bobbie, proved this every weekend. We were active in NRA 'Bullseye' in the 70's and early 80's. Both were still competitive at the top tier.
