Starring William Conrad as Marshal Dillon with Parley Baer as Chester, Georgia Ellis as Kitty, Howard McNear as Doc Adams, and Eleanore Tanin as Linda Belle, as well as Vic Perrin, Lawrence Dobkin, and Paul DuBov. George Walsh is your announcer and Norman Macdonnell the director/producer. This story was written by John Meston.

This episode maintains the high dramatic level of the "Gunsmoke" radio series. William Conrad, as Marshall Matt Dillon, was always superb in his role. The well-written scripts, the sound effects, the pacing, and acting by the cast make this one for the ages. Thank you for taking the time for a brief summary of the plot along with the names of the cast. The fine audio made for an increased pleasure of listening. One error in the summary was crediting a "John Mester" rather than John Meston for writing the story.
