I see Gunther being the successor to the Undertaker in the locker room. Very humble outside the ring, talks about who he’d like to work with, and speaks highly of all the talent.

Love this guy, charismatic and his abilities on the mic and in the ring are amazing. He adapted very well with the weight loss, made it work with a new name and still kept his presence. Gunther is a certified G, he has everything you need for a great wrestler. Y2J, Gunther and The Miz are my top IC champions.

I don't really follow him or have seen any of his matches but I'm really surprised how well spoken he is and how humble he appears. May have gotten himself a future fan in me just from that alone.

Michael Cole totally gave away the ending to his Summerslam match by saying how its only a short while until he beats Honky Tonk's record. As soon as he said that, I knew Gunther was winning.

I hope Gunther continues to go far in WWE I love him so much, original guy and lovely.

I barely watch any modern Pro Wrestling. But i remember seeing Walter (Gunther now) on the German indies back in the late 2000s. He called himself Big Van Walter, as a nod to Vader and he looked incredibly big and heavy and just looked like someone who would eat you for lunch. And he also is someone who takes Wrestling very seriously, something that i really don't see from alot of Wrestlers these days. I am very happy That Walter got this far and i hope that he will win the big one before he retires.
