I am a Tamil. I don't know Hindi or Punjabi but working near Chandigarh. So I can pretty much understand this. A very sensible and responsible video Mr. Gurdas Maan. Kudos to the child. His reactions are very impressive and my eyes became watery. Keep doing useful things like this to the soceity.

Meaning Of The Video (For people who dont know punjabi) At the start we see Shaheed Bhagat Singh in his childhood practicing his sacrifice for the idea of freedom of India, Gurdas Mann here plays time as he takes Shaheed Bhagat Singh to the future to show what happens to India after his death. Firstly time takes the child to a shopping complex where we see people busy in showing off and shopping showcasing that the life has taken over smartphones and branded clothes. At 2:24 We see that people dont interact with each other but through phones We see at 2:44 that the man shoots the innocent woman dancing on the stage, yet people cheer his criminality. We see at 2:47 that two young men try to kidnap/molest a woman. We see at (symbolically) 2:49 that people try to drag down people who are trying to study and change the society. We see at 2:53 the bodybuilder takes steroids and injections to enhance his body, just to showoff We see at 2:54 the guy throwing acid on the woman walking, to ruin her face as they didn't get their way with her We see at 3:06 that the child when going to his mother for something, she instead tries to slap him and gives her an iPad to entertain himself instead of bugging her while she has alcohol and smokes near her kid. At 3:25 we see that people in high society smoke and drink even when it starts to harm their health just to get along with other people in that social group At 3:30 we see the child going for glass of water for taking meds, children so young have become obese and have health problems that they have to take meds, slowly the hand will go towards alcohol as he grows up seeing adults around him At 4:01 we see the farmer using GM seeds to grow grains and also use fertilisers that at the end when eaten are so adulterated that they are poisonous, just for profit and faster growth the farmer plays with the lives of people At 4:15 we see that the dairy farmer is injecting the cow/buffalo with drugs to increase the milk giving of cows, this shows that humans have no regard for animals and just want profit, he gives the same milk to his child and drinks alcohol infant of his child, we see at 4:27 the child copies his father of cleaning his face, this shows that children go after their parents and the problems that parents have, it gets passed down to children who try to become their parents. At 4:40 we see children, youth, old, drug addict and drinkers all in hospital because of health problems of their bad habits At 5:01 we see young people playing sports reducing over time as they get addicted to drugs etc. At 5:11 we see that old people who lived more simpler have stronger bodies than young people that depend on synthetic health and body enhancers At 5:20 we see sister saying her drug addict brother to lift the funeral pyre of their father but he is so drugged that he cannot even comprehend what she says, we see at 5:44 that the girl lifts the pyre, showcasing that the men and boys have become so drug addict and drunk that their responsibility is now only lying over the shoulders of women. At 5:58 we see the woman taking her family member to hospital in ambulance is stopped due to political protest who show no compassion to her instead push her away. We see the newspaper showing the Beadbi of Shri Guru Granth Sahib, which is disrespecting our relgion but no justice is done due to politics, at 4:24 we see that the protestor spits at Shaheed Bhagat Singh's statue disrespecting it sacrifice, At 6:29 we see the child removing the Shaheed from the statue but time stops him and says that your sacrifice is required, what this shows is that Shaheed Bhagat Singh would die even if he knew, just for the idea of A Free India. At 6:56 time gives amrit (holy water) to the child and the child cries and embraces time and his sacrifice, life and his legacy. Moral: People gave life for the freedom we so much enjoy and dont value, what have we sacrificed to repay the debt we owe to those great men and women. Like the Comment so more people can understand this

There is no Punjabi education in Pakistan. Mandeep veerji gal tah tuhadi bohot changi hai, par agar Pakistani Punjabi apna farj samajan teh Punjabi nu agge wadan da mauka dehn. If back in 1947 we claimed our own country Punjab, then Pakistan and India would be worth nothing. Muslim, Sikh and Hindu brothers lived in peace before separation. Goreah ne gandha pata. I would never fly to Delhi, sidha Lahore utarna, taxi to Amritsar :)

Respect from Pakistan and thanks for giving us such an irony. It is without doubt the best subcontinental song of 2017 so far. Shaheed Bhagat Singh had a legacy of passion that still lives in both Indian & Pakistani Punjab. the song depicts the most realistic naked truth of our so called modernized society. people migrated from both sides of Punjab (IndoPak) to foriegn counteries and forgot their own culture and values. we were the guys who were famous for their dairy products and fertile lands producing nuterient enriched crops and vegetables. But look at us now what do we have? We don't find pure milk nither in Pakistan nor in India. We are running after the race of money not after our elders. Hats off to you sir!
