A fully-suited firefighter can often be scary for young children leading them to hide in closets or under beds during a fire. Since the Gurnee Fire Department (GFD) is unable to meet with our K - 3rd graders in person, here is a video of Firefighter/Paramedic Perry suiting up to share with your young ones.
The GFD hopes this video will ease a child's fear when a firefighter shows up to help.
