Channel Nine could make an offseason sporting doco for the ages getting Gus to talk more about the evolution of the game over time, coaching trees, and who has influenced the game most into its modern day (for e.g. Warren Ryan providing the game "enlightenment" back in the early 80s), with whom, how and why... Great stuff.

I have to say, as a dinosaur, I much prefer the way league was played with centre pairings and halves pairings who complimented each other and had more room to run without back rowers permanently in the “inside centre” position.

Given there are neutral grounds in every origin series, why isn't the possible decider played at the neutral ground? Game 1 and 2 are still played at home grounds with first home game changing each year but take away any advantage in a decider, play them in Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, NZ ........

Good work for giving Channel 9 and the NRL ideas. We can look forward to a GF in Perth, Adelaide, Hobart, Darwin or anywhere else RL isn't played so we can "grow" the game. Classic case of the ripping off the existing "customers" (the fans) in the hopeless hope of attracting new fans.

No. They should only play in QLD and Sydney. One team gets two games every two years. Melbourne is a horrible ground and so are Perth and Adelaide

Flegler sadly, may never play again. His shoulder injury is very serious and may have him retiring early. It nerve damage. There waiting for it to heal but it’s taking far to long and may never heal.😢😢

In the old days it was big guys and little guys. You passed the ball to the big as often as possible and the small guy would hide out on the wing. There were also fast guys and slow guys. Passing to fast guy was always a good option. Small guys who were slow were good for hanging between two tall props as the hooker in the scrum (which were contested). These strategies worked well in backyard footy and juniors as well.

A lot of people have had the sternum removed THE Seat belts in cars goes right across it and in bad car accidents the seat belts damages it that they Remove the sternum and I new a mate who had the done he he was never the same ever made him lose strength as well. But the bloody seatbelts are a big cause of bad sternum injuries

Salmon broke his jaw, he got a few weeks off and yes it should have been a penalty. But, if you are relying on penalties to win games then you have to change your game plan because refs are very unreliable.

Realistically latrell the only one the blues will miss compared to qld forced changes blues have a better chance to win with this team than the current qld aide
