Awesome night with these 3, Vök looks like a perfect fit for this band, they really needed a 2nd vocalist to be complete. We had intermittent rain (sometimes heavy rain) during the show, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the gig.
I actually brought my copy of Arabian Horse to hopefully get them to sign in, waited half an hour for them to appear, but unfortunately I was told by security they're already late so they won't have the time. Well at least we got to waive to them in the van. Next time!
If you're as confused about "Breaking Down" as I was at first, it's not an actual GusGus song, it's a cover of the song from Ananda Project with the same name. Unfortunately, it seems to be unreleased, so we have settle with these live recordings. Some day they'll hopefully do a proper release, it'd be really worth it.
I'm not addressing Vök individually, because I consider her truly part of the gang, I love the chemistry between them. So either way, thanks a lot GusGus, you're awesome, can't wait to see you next time!
