@@petitepastequeuwu7876 Georgia was the worst, a mess of a song. Horrible English. I knew from the start it wouldn’t qualify. Iceland had a bad song too. That’s why there were no borderline qualifiers. They all qualified with double of points of the NQ’s .

@@krisg822 If someone's opinion does not coincide with yours, then this does not mean double standards. I don't like the Ukrainian song at all (I'm from Ukraine). But I understand that someone else might like it. There are a lot of good entries this year. That's why so many people think that voting is not fair. But the truth is that even those who didn't make it into the top 10 could theoretically win or get into the top 3. And Belgium was great too. And Latvia, although it is not even in the final. I don't like that Sweden won. I like Finland more this year. My top 3 is 1. Finland 2. Israel 3. Sweden.

Let me finish by congratulating the entire Belgian team. This was a product that was 100% complete. Vocals, backings, visuals, costumes, Preparties. They worked so damn hard to convince people that the reason was to party & to be yourself, surrounded by friends & family (whether real ones or chosen ones). I am so proud in Gustaph, and have a feeling we might win soon ! Hopefully either in 2024 or 2025. Let's bring the ESC back to Brussels !

@@roelantverhoeven371 I mean, even Eurosong being a Flemish-only VRT-broadcast festival is held most often in Brussels. So if Belgium was to win someday, 90% of chance it will be held in Brussels. (Even if I myself prefer Antwerp or even Gent or Liège, but I'm not sure if the latter two would have a suitable venue for it)

For some reason, my mom and aunts continue to listen to this song even a year after this performance. Turns out that many of their friends also love this song. I don't know what's going on with Gustaph and how this song really speak to moms and middle-aged women, but I start to appreciate the vibe of it. Just pure positivity!

STEF!!!!😮 I still remember the shock when Gustaph won the Belgian final. No one expected him to win. He won with an advance of only …one point. I didn’t like this song. Yet he deserved to win as his act was the best. He stood up, showed his vulnerability, build up to an amazing performance and stole everyone’s hearts. I couldn’t be more proud about him, being a fantastic professional, a truly beautiful person and the perfect role model. Hoedje af ❤

Bijna alle landen hebben ergens op hem gestemd in de semi en of in de finale. 7 de plaats is een puike prestatie zeker als we weten dat 2 landen buiten categorie waren . I’m so pleasantly surprised for Belgium. Wasn’t a big fan of the song at first but it’s really grown on me, and that final performance was so fun and anthemic. You could really tell Gustaph cared and it was wonderful to see him defy expectations.

@@rasmussenthegreat1685 I'd have to say Gustaph had more of the underdog story than Alika did because his win in Eurosong 2023 came as a total surprise - the majority of fans wanted Chérine to win and they bashed him for that. He got heckled by some people at the Barcelona pre-party (people were chanting Chérine's name during his performance). But in the end, he proved the haters wrong by getting Belgium its first top 10 finish since Blanche in 2017 and recorded the second-highest placement in the semifinal era for an entry submitted by the Flemish broadcaster (he also has the second-highest scoring Flemish entry of all time)

Everyone's talking about the performance being good but the actual song is such a banger in itself, especially the chorus. Also the singer is so underrated, everything isn't perfect but he nails those melodies that add emotion and groove to the song if that makes sense Actually like in my top 3 this year

For me, together with Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam, the most beautiful voice on earth. they are both the artists with the most beautiful soul on earth and you can hear that in their music. i love them both.
