Guttannen is a municipality in the Interlaken-Oberhasli administrative district in the canton of Bern in Switzerland.
Guttannen is the name of a meadow, which became the name of the municipality. It comes from the phrase ze den guoten tannen (by the good firs).
Guttannen, a wonderful place with complete silence, a place for rest and meditation.
The small village is so full of positive energy, the wooden houses make you think of the past, of your ancestors, the respect for everything around you grows and you realize that life is fleeting and all that matters is the present.
