@Azurexxxx no not really, past 24-25 fps the human eye detects the frames as a kinda movie, but this does not mean that you can't see a difference between 60 & and 100 FPS. Back to the time, when I played CS pretty often, I experimented with the Hz-Settings of my monitor myself and I can tell that there is a huge difference between 80 and 100 FPS ! And yeah I did this on a CRT

@1Gigas1 if the monitor is 60hz and you have vsync of you would still notice the difference, otherwise you are correct

@cumfield Yeah, human eye can only see 24 fps, ingame FPS is nothing but a index of performance.

OK guys ... if you would put 2 monitors next to each other. One who is on 60fps and other who is on 100 fps you'll see very big difference. Affcourse if the monitor is 60hz you wouldnt -.-

@KAmaKAsa1 I cant believe people still saying that!!! Its a lie and it makes me ANGRY!! FIRST BUY A MONITOR WITH 120HZ, PLAY A GAME AT 200 FPS AND THEN COME BACK AND TELL ME IF U SAW A DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 60FPS AND 200FPS.

120 gerc > 60... I have 120 gz monitor.
