Nothing worse than trying to help an animal that doesn’t understand that you are only trying to help them. Thankfully there are people such as you that are willing.

I think we don't give animals enough credit and I think some of them probably work out that he's helping them. He says he has to treat them multiple times so they must work out that he's not hurting them, and that they're starting to feel better after his intervention. I think the same about those guys who catch seals to untangle them. Even though they all run when they start chasing them some of them seem to have gotten used to them helping and they don't run as fast or as far.

I don’t think a wild animal necessarily registers that, “oh, this is a friendly human.” They go to survival mode and run. Thankfully, he can secure them and treat them. He is a wonderful person.

Sunflower, unless you are truly in a survival situation and I doubt you are,there are thousands of wonderful, highly nutritious foods to choose from without abusing and killing animals. Do you know what factory farms are ? Do you approve ? Do you know what slaughter houses are, do you approve ? Why are you paying someone to abuse and kill animals on your behalf so you can eat them when you could easily choose something else to eat ? How do you justify taking someone's life for a sandwich when you have a choice not too ? So which animals in your mind "deserve love and care" ? your words.

All it takes 2 prevent this from happening is some time, medicine & minimal effort! Ur an inspiration and amazing example 2 others who want 2 help wildlife! I love this guy! 😍 He reminds me of the guy (and his team) in South Africa that help save the lives of Seals caught in fishing lines and debris. If I was younger I would get involved in helping distressed animals ❤ it's too bad I didn't learn about these efforts until recently and now I'm too old.

The spray is an antibacterial for the wounds (Cetrigen) but he’s using Bravecto to kill the mange parasite.😊

We need more people like this in the world! He's not doing it for the fame or glory and he's treating them as hands-off as possible so there's less stress to the animal and they don't have to be taken out of their natural environment. He just honestly wants to help wombats to be healthy and happy again and that's so inspiring to me. What an amazing human to be out there helping just to see healthy wombats in his area and know that they're going to go on living their best lives after treatment. Well done! 🤘🏻❤️🔥
