But you'll never surpass Fred doing a chimney the old way, chipping out one side, lighting his fire, watching his metal rod hammered into mortar begin so sag, legging it as it falls quicker than he expected, then once it's on the ground blowing his big horn.... followed of course by "How'd ye like that?"

@@Benzyl These numbers do mean things to those who can interoperate them, if you are capable then things look different. One of the latest minerals and mining companies in the world had their AGM last week. In the opening speach from the CEO he gave some figures. If we want to replace all our current energy needs with wind, solar and batteries we will need to mine in the next 20 years the same amount of copper that we have mined in the entire history of humans mining copper!!! Similar scary figures for steel Aluminium cobalt etc. We need to change everything to save the world but we will have to destroy it in the process of getting there.

Amazing. They invite a guy from Lincolnshire to blow up a power station I can see from my front door but are incapable of telling me when it's going to happen. As an aside, the boiler house was expected to turn into a heap on the floor. It didnt. Two frames remained half standing and took in excess of 9 months to be dismantled using two large mobile cranes. Did i mention I can see it from my front door?
