He could make it more realistic if he had to unscrew the cap at the bottom of the handle then pull the string from there or to twist a screw at the top like ww2 stick grenades did in their later years

Fun fact about the German grenade, since it was on a stick it was more favorable as an offensive grenade as it could be thrown farther away while being in a relatively safe position, but with its awkward shape and size you could only carry few of them, it was more favorable to have the standard ball style grenade in defensive engagements, since it was possible to carry a lot more of them, and another cool bit about the german grenade was that it was a concussion grenade due to metal shell being so thin, which is why german soldiers would strap multiple stick grenade heads together to get a more affective fragmentation which would also be used as an anti-tank weapon because of its over pressure capability (I maybe wrong with my information, so feel free to correct me where I’m wrong)

Stick grenades were also thought of bc this was a time axe throwing was really popular across Europe. And baseball was the sport of North America, ball players were preferred as grenadiers

i have a genuine 1944 stick grenade, and it has a frag cage thing that clamps on the top part, and it gives it fragmentation

There were caps designed for that stick grenade to place them over the top so it would also get fragmentation effects.

If nothing else, they might freeze for a second upon seeing your uniform. If the ammocount is similar to the actual weapon, you could try the Suomi KP-31 or the PPSH ones (two models had 70+ mags, but i'm not 100% about the names), given that the actual loading wouldn't be as much of a pain as the real guns.

Maybe you can try the StG44? It was the first assault rifle in WW2 and the Soviets confiscated them after Germany surrendered. They ended up creating the AK47 from using the StG44 design

The STG44 was NOT the basis for the AK47. The idea for a intermediate cartridge assault rifle may have come from the Sturmgewehr, but Kalashnikov himself has stated that the AK is actually based on the M1 Garand. Very sorry for being pedantic, I just couldn't help myself.

740$ ? Even Swit sells their upgraded version for 495$ But the SRC-mp40 Sure is one of the best CO2 Gbb Mp40's out there, I have it myself and its a beast! Especialy compared to the only other option out there. Also, if the clothing/gear kit is your personally, I'd recommend moving up the helmet decal's so it sits under the rivet for more or less a correct look.
