The new Fireblade hasn't really been running at the same pace as the front runners but it's early days with the new bike yet. McGuiness doesn't crash often either which was a worrying sign. I hope Guy gets it together for the race. We'll see.

I watched that film 'Closer to the Edge' and got the impression that Mr.Martin is never happy with the mechanics of the machine. I wonder if he'd be better served building his own bike like that New Zealand 'Britten' machine which was by all accounts competetive. He'd get loads of sponsors. I'm not a fan, but I have great respect for anyone in these races and I like the dog.
