Me too! I had a male mallard for 10 years. I miss him every day.

@@mitzioden4926 aww! We started off with only 2, but a neighbors dog got our male. I miss him very much everyday, he was a huge snuggle bug and loved to play… our neighbor never said anything, but we know it was his dog bc we saw it around again and it had tried to get him a few days before but failed. I still havent forgiven that neighbor. 🥲

In most cases, yes it would be nice. Idk if you read about the Yellowstone bison calf story yet, but some idiot picked it up to "help" it across the river and it was rejected by its herd. It was later put down. Just make sure to research if you can safely touch them or not. Sometimes touching them does more harm than good

Is it just me, or do I really see 11 babies down there, and with mama at the end, and not just 10? Pretty sure there were eleven. So he should get even more credit for his good deed. 😊 Thank you, sir, for rescuing those baby ducks and returning them to their mother. She seemed pretty worried and anxious about them. I'm glad they were all right and had a happy reunion with mom. ❤

Oh, so precious.🥰 We had the same thing happen with a storm drain and a neighbor and I got them out and back with mama. It was so sweet!

A duckling's life is definitely not easy! Our team got on camera ducklings that had to throw themselves into the abyss to survive! That's their only way out of a tree, even though they still can't fly. Spoiler alert: it's a happy ending story.
