The expressions changed quickly on those two seniors. They immediately released stress and got hope in their faces at the shelter when you took them from their cages. And at the motel chewing on the rawhide sticks in their new beds...already much happier and looking like " aw-right, now we're living. Then at Asher House with the test of the group...another change for more fun. I was smiling through the entire video. 🎵😇👍

I've had my dog for nearly 15 years and he's about to see me to 30. His senior years have been the absolute best and I think if I'm to get another dog in the future, I'd like to adopt a senior. They're so chill and mellow, just happy to be here.

That is Lee Asher, who founded *The Asher House Sanctuary* ! I have donated to his sanctuary in Oregon for a couple of years, and he has the most pure soul when it comes to reaching out for seniors, special needs, and even going to get dogs from out-of-state when their shelter time is running out. And those of us who know, know that he didn’t just adopt those two he has a sanctuary of 20 to 30 dogs at any one time until they get adopted, llamas, pigs, I think he has cows now! Good work, Lee!

The Asher House is one of my favourite channels to watch. He does amazing rescues & takes in dogs just before they are scheduled to be euthanized...and just has regular uptake days, where he just goes out & takes in more dogs. He is an amazing guy. :)

I love Lee and The Asher House! What is being done there is totally beautiful. I encourage all of my friends to buy merch, wellness products, or just donate a few bucks if they can. Lee is giving dogs that would’ve been lost to the shelter and euth list. Now they are running free on the most beautiful property out there. They are even building a new place to house the pups they have to quarantine after the shelter. It’s going to be named after the most beautiful girl, Lillie who passed away recently. She was so bonded with Lee and he has said that she has helped him start the wellness line and just inspired him to keep going. I just can’t say enough about the sanctuary and it’s staff. My rescue baby wears a pink Asher House hoodie!
