I was by the Lancaster canal today! Some decent weather, I've come on a week's break from birmingham to Blackpool. I went to Barton Grange Garden Centre today, I love it there.

I would love to live on the canals. Mooring on the canal is free unless it specifically says a cost but mooring in a marina costs a fee, which varies from marina to marina. I didn’t know this place existed, so thanks for showing us this place Stephen.

Nice peaceful location a world away from Blackpool seafront. I’ve experienced life on the canals by doing several canal boat holidays. It’s a great way of life totally slowed down on the canals. Certainly looks love here.

Loving this video looks a very interesting place. I ran a narrowboat project on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal from Foulridge to Skipton. We did Blackburn, Accrington and Burnley too😊 Happy days. ❤

I think I need a 2 week holiday next october. A few nights at windermere then lancaster and morecambe then that place. Then a week in the mighty blackpool.

Hi Stephen , Thank you for the vlog, I would like to correct you, when you called the river craft barges , they are not barges they are narrowboats. barges carry goods people live on narrowboats.

Used to play pool in Pubs there in the Longridge League. Not really a place for poor people.

If your going to show local places please do your research. Guys court has a wonderful restaurant. Old nells is more Sunday carvery. So many teenagers go there as they study at the agricultural college near there.

Never heard of that place. it looks really great and a lot of thought has been put into it , so cheers to whoever designed it all. And it has cost a lot - thatching is mega-expensive.😁. Thanks for showing it.
