Do note: The pronunciation errors are because he's a Filipino like me. We don't have the 'th' sound in our languages so we either use t or d when speaking in English, at least until we find out about the difference and start to learn- adjustment and switching between t, th, and d is hard tho. In an interview here in the Philippines, Marcelito wants to sing we are the world and the night of opera, on where el gama penumbra is doing shadow dance on the background, he pleased the organizers with his idea.. in the end, since simon cowell is the producer of the show, they pressured marcelito pomoy cuting off his time of practice as well as the producers choosing him which song to sing.. we ended up in beauty in the beast which is good. But imagine, we are the world or opera with el gama penumbra in the backgrouns would be great. They rigged him. Beacuse his asian.. in AMERICAN got talent.. this show is ficking me off. The interview here in the philippines you can see marcelito pomoy's almost crying. He performed against his will..

Actually he has to submit 5 songs, one of the songs he submitted was "Phantom of the Opera". And I think it would be epic if he sang it. But none of the songs was approved aside from "Beauty and the Beast". So I think the competition was rigid.

Actually, there was an interview here where he told that none of the songs in his list was chosen. It was the producers who told him to sing Beauty and the Beast. Nakaka-inis nga eh lmao, like meron na tayong chance na mas makikilala yung mga Pinoy singers natin. Then Simon just waltzes in and then destroy Marcelito's chance of winning.
