i legit think that was my reaction when i had indian for the first time. my family didn't go beyond mexican, and i didn't even have chinese food until high school when a friend's family ordered it while i was there (which was funny because they asked me what i wanted and i went idk i've never had it and they just stared). i knew food could be good but not THAT good. thankfully i had someone there who explained how to eat it so i wasn't just eating the curry like a soup. but that was so awesome.

Actually as an Indian I think there are MANY similarities between Mexican food and Indian food. When I tried molé for the first time I almost got out of my chair and did a little dance. And queso de Oaxaca is FAR superior to mozzarella, fuggeddabouddit. And now there are restaurants that do Indian Mexican fusion and it's a revelation.

I was laughing so hard at the butter chicken part just because I didn't grow up eating indian food but my girlfriend loves it, so I pretty much had the same reaction to it when I had it for the first time, indian food goes so hard

Honestly the way that "lukefoods" pronounces Gulab Jamoon is much more accurate/correct vs. Will himself and that's the part of this video I find the most hilarious lol

Growing up near a major city and experiencing most ethnic cuisine types before 15 is amazing, but I felt Will when he says he wishes he could experience something for the first time again. I don't think I remember any of my "first times". The only thing new, which was pretty fire, was trying etheopian food when I was in college.

even mid Indian food will take a dump on most other "good" food. I heartily recommend trying it if and when you can, just remember Indian spicy is very different from American spicy so maybe don't go straight for the vindaloo

I mean orange chicken is purely American Chinese, right? Butter chicken is from India and it's one of the go-to orders in restaurants in North India. A better comparison for orange chicken is chicken tikka masala which does not exist in India. I'm Indian myself btw.
