Guyana government should fund and promote your channel also, you alone have done more for Guyana and its cultural promotion than the ministry of tourism. Just saying. Kudos on your award and recognition for the great work you do.

You deserve all those awards and more. As I said before you are a true ambassador for Guyana. All Guyanese must and should be proud of the work you do and the love of country. Continue the good work and may God continue to bless you. From Trinidad 🇹🇹

Hey great video.. jus wanted to say on the sustainable fishery initiative good job... i think the next time u need to get fish for breeding u guys can try a fish pot trap setup so u all can get the fish without harming their mouths etc. I believe that may have been a reason why some died, also feel u need like a bigger storage and pump for them. I also recommend using barbless hooks. I have experiences where i had used barb hooks before and the fish died. I mean it may be difficult to get alot in fish pots but it really saves the fish and you can select sizes to keep etc. GOOD JOB MAN👍👍👍 from 🇹🇹🇹🇹.

Hello Danny, Continue the excellent work in show casing Guyana to the world but after seeing the Guyana Fisheries working on repopulating other rivers in Guyana, what they need to do is test the water for contamination due pesticides and insecticides before attempting to add fishes to the rivers because it will be a losing cause. Hopefully someone would proactively take action to resolve this issue. Once again, thank you for all you have done for Guyana!

Educate yourself before talking foolishness! They will do exactly what the USA does, which is raise the fishes with chemicals and then release it back into the wild. All the chemicals will not only be unhealthy for the fishes, but unhealthy for humans, contributing to many health issues! Guyana use to pride themselves on not having farm raised fish, that’s no longer the case 🤦🏽♂️

Brother. You have to be the voice. For the Fishes,,,they are not throwing back the small fishes,,,,especially the HASSA,,,,,they are destroying the HASSA stock. And the foolish fisherman,,say it will never done. Remember no Curry HASSA is not a good future. All up to you to educate them. Good luck.

In this case why don’t you net the baby fish as opposed to the adults if you are doing sustainable fishing? This way you can catch more.

these fishes needs to be tested for mercury , any farm raised fished is questionable for human consumption, guidelines must be established .
