Oh I see! I was thinking that balayage was like highlighting, but more blended and natural. Does balayage give a more natural, highlighted effect to ombre, or would you say a sombre was a more natural look?

go to google images and type in ombre balayage, sombre color melt and you will see example pictures of each with explanation. I have printed it out and have it at my station because alot of times client is saying a technique without actually knowing what it is and the pictures make it easy to make sure you are understanding what they want.

Vivalastyle you need a purple tone to cancel out the yellow, for orange it would be blue.. think of the colour wheel x

Solo enfocate nena en los pasos q hace son de mucha ayuda, mas q nada es el patron q usa practicalo...solo esta diciendo q hace un efecto mas natural el patron q esta u sando y ala hra q el producto esta seco dice q ya dejo trabajar x q en teoricamente ya no hay humedad el peroxido y bleach estan expuestos y lo hace para q no levante mucho x q en el trabajo de ella no la dejan estar como nosotras llamamos gueras quieren q se quede en los tonos semi naturales no quieren realces. dramaticos x q ya hay una persona con cabello claro y ella es la q quedaria como castaña...y hiso en la parte de enfrente solo un pequeño realce tratando de quedar lo mas posible en castaña pero en dimension...y esta usando los productos q el esta promoviendo de la marca kenra...

disculpas no es la marca kenra..es q esta promoviendo barias marcas eata usando como toner chromasilk en beige desde la base hasta medias puntas y el resto en (cristal- ( clear) es de la marca Pravana...

c llama el toner expres toners 5 min chromasilk beige y cristal o clear de la marca pravana.
