When I was a kid in the early 90’s I was on my death bed with a rare disease and I watched The Guyver every night. Gave me the strength to endure the ailment and make a full recovery.

Guyver Suit looks better than anything in Marvel or DC films. Fact. Because it's 100% Practical Suit. No lame CGI wasting money.

You really want a remake of this? How would that look in the 2020s? All the monsters will be CGI and the Guyver will be a lesbian who's faster, stronger and smarter than absolutely everyone else in existence and that's before she puts on the suit, at which point she becomes god.

@@Joke_Bidumb ... Cheaper to use suits. CGI effects of course too. Guyver series has a Female Guyver in it already. A new Film could be about the Female Guyver from the mangas. Trained Martial Artist by Chronus themselves. Chronus had plans to turn her into a Zoanoid, but she steals the damaged Guyver2 control metal of her deceased Brother... GUYVER2M. This new repaired control metal is flawed, puts a time limit on her time in Guyver2F form. So she must end fights quickly. Wouldn't matter if she is bisexual, lesbian, or straight to be honest. It could be filmed Cheaply too like the 1994 Guyver2 Dark Hero film. Get David Hayter to Write it. Get Steven Wang on Creature Effects again. Have them both co-direct it together. And at the end ... SEAN BAKER shows up and offers Guyver2F to join him in his War against Chronus. With him can be the mysterious Guyver3 in Armor, human form not shown.

@@brianmccann666 Nah nah, forget those fossils, we'll just get some neckbeard who filmed a couple of beer commercials to direct. No time for suits, we'll just CGI them in later. We're not going to read any of the Mangas, we'll just watch a plot summary on YT, if that. The important thing is we really develop Sean's character. Sean's a woman now btw and we'll explore her interpersonal relationships with her lesbian lover (the other girl Guyver maybe?) and the misogynistic males in her life. She'll spend most of the movie contemplating her true gender identity, involving herself in social activism and discussing philosophy with the world's first fully sentient articial intelligence program, which she developed entirely by herself after taking an online coding class. At the end she'll use her Jesus powers to defeat some CGI lizards to save the world, or whatever. This is a guaranteed success, I just know it.

I've seen this film way way back then in 1998. Way before I even knew about Guyver. I was just a kid who wakes up on an early saturday morning and would watch Power Ranger on FOX. To me it was different and amazing!

Steve Wang, the guy who did both the movies, is the one who tried to bring Kamen Rider back to the U.S. We already had "Masked Rider", but Steve got "Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight" here.

Admittedly, the transformation sequence aged rather well. It's not the best, but by no means is it as bad as some other Sentai we need not mention.

QyroCorp incorrect sir. Mighty morphin was created and based off of the 15th or 16th season of the super sentai squad. & that’s fact. They’re all part of the same tech we’re talking about but far from the same era in that universe.
