Good video! Editing was on point. No mini game overstayed it's welcome. Gags were pretty good and comes in a decent length. A lot of hard work and probably a lot more went into this project reward it youtube.

Fun fact about "ground pound" regardless of what difficulty the CPU is on, they'll always go one flat, one pointy and back and forth

I get the feeling Hudson Soft and Nintendo underestimated just how many times players need to rotate the control stick to even have a slight chance at winning those particular mini-games... I know this because when those same mini-games were remade in Mario Party Supertstars, the difficulty was far lower compared to the original N64 counterpart.

Videos like these make me think I should start watching GVG more often

Cast Aways is the best mini game in the entire series. I used to play 7 game series matchups with friends. Good times and lots of skill required. It was such a game changer on the regular game board. If you were good(and a little lucky) you could get 70 coins everytime, and rarely 80.

interesting thing about tug-o-war and pedal power is they're literally unwinnable without being essentially very good at stick rotating. to the point its literally best to lose on purpose in those minigames- tug-o-war is especially unwinnable, as even with the cpus on easy mode, and no matter what side you're on, you just can't beat it no matter how much you rotate the stick unless you're somehow fast enough. paddle battle deff takes longer and is more pain, but at least some acknowledge its winnable compared to the other two which are straight up actually unwinnable. tug-o-war's deff one of the worst mario party 1v3 minigames next to pedal power because they're near unbeatable, to the point i'm actually surprised they bought it back twice- the best move in that mini-game is deff to not play it.

personally i kinda wish they kept losing coins in minigames, it adds alot more challange and weight to the minigames

I played OG Mario Party way back in the day, but I only remember any of these mini games because of Mario Party 2. That said, Mushroom Mix Up is amazing and easily the best mini game from this collection. And yes, please, another ranking for Party 2 would be fun.

I enjoyed this, looking forward to the next 2 😊 It’d be cool if you considered adding some type of letter ranking or a star meter to indicate how you feel about each mini game, and where the divide between the good mini games and the great ones comes in!

besides the rotating shtick mini games, the WORST 1 for me is definitely BASH N CASH!!! That's a no brainner for the 1 player!! Then Bowl Over, Crane Game are also WORST 1 for the team of 3 which will NOT even win any coins for winning!

& btw, FKING SQUID GAME stole the idea of TUG O WAR from MP1!!! Except the losers didn't get eaten by a giant piranha plant but instead just fell from the cliff 40metres down to their death then a few didn't even die afte they fell in squid game!! FK!
