a bit more grinding, adjusted the opener and the ending slightly and cleaner execution. not sure if it can actually be pushed much higher and it is just not worth it until they buff it

I’m not very experienced with ele at all. So please don’t mind the questions. I’m looking forward to playing as a power range DPS on ele..but which elite spec would be best for that? Does catalyst perform the best at range compared to the other 2 elite specs? Also is Catalyst the only elite spec that consistently goes through all the attunments during the DPS rotation? If this is how the rotation will be it seems super fun..coming from a power berserker main. Also how’s the burst looking for Cata spear(assuming they fix the DPS like they said in the patch notes) If you can help answer this for me, would appreciate it.

@@MoGaiinz during the beta both catalyst and tempest seemed to have some potential with spear (this is the tempest preliminary rotation kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gN1gjNyDz96blas.htmlsi=u6Wk2BX3vQSrjJ6t ). Tempest did use all 4 etchings while catalyst uses 3. Tempest is somewhat ranged because of overloads and in this case it didnt use fresh air which means it overloaded fire/earth as well. If on release people go with fresh air, it will mean the rotation revolves around air overload so you will be able to stay at that range, same as current power tempest. Now about the changes they plan to make, i honestly don't know to what extent they will buff the damage. They didnt give specific details so it is impossible to tell. Hopefully they do a good job. Either way the burst when it comes to catalyst is never really good. And spear isnt gonna be any different

@@xchris5662thanks for that, but isn’t fire overload on tempest not ranged at all? It seems like due to the overloads, it isn’t fully ranged? Which of the 3 elite specs has the best DPS uptime at 1200 range?

@@MoGaiinz fire overload is only 180 range. so yea it definitely isn't fully ranged. at 1200 range probably catalyst but you still loose a lot of damage from not being able to use your augments into spheres

@@MoGaiinz weaver relies on primordial stance and it is a good chunk of your damage. They could be equal but weaver was absolutely horrible with spear to even worth considering playing it and i doubt it will change much on release but we will see

Surprised you managed to even squueze that much out of it considering how it feels like a wet tissue, an awesome storm casting fire spewing wet tissue, bit a wet tissue nonetheless.
