Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa my first merlin amv !!!! i watched the show for the first time from the end of december through mid march and i completely fell in love w these three !!!! about halfway through the series i knew i wanted to make a video for them set to this song and i'm sooooooo happy with how it turned out !!!!! im especially proud of the Movement and how it pairs so nicely with the music

these three should have had much more screentime together. their dynamic (Gwaine aiming to get Merlin's attention and Arthur trying to shield his trusted companion from anyone who might steal him) is the foundation for great storytelling

I just got back into Merlin recently and reawakened my love for Gwaine, and oh my god this is absolutely perfect?? I'm still incredibly salty that Gwaine got barely any screentime in the last two seasons. He, Merlin, and Arthur were such a good trio and I wish the show had had more episodes focused on the three of them. Obviously, I absolutely love this. I can't believe how perfect the song is for the three of them.

ive rewatched this so many times over the last couple days because its making me go insane... the cuts?? the voiceover bits from the show?? "i hope you find what youre looking for"?? the sync of arthur with his back turned showing his progression through the series?? im going insane . i cannot stop watching this .

This is excellent. It's nice to see a video that has a more period-style of music, and it matches these characters perfectly. (I'm another recent Merlin fan - discovered it in November, got hooked in December, and took a deep dive into the many wonderful fanfiction stories - Gwaine is my favorite character.)

Favorite edit with this song so far. I especially like the voiceover introduction from another series. At least, I think it is? Though the ending cut off a little early. I think you could have given the song another 7 seconds and fade it out instead of a sudden cut. Anyhow, I really liked it and it was a lot of fun to see Merlin equated to the poet because his magic was actually triggered by the spoken word!

the intro is from merlin !!! ep 3.08 the eye of the phoenix it’s the one where arthur goes on his solo quest to the fisher king’s lands and merlin and gwaine follow him. the keeper of the bridge calls them courage magic and strength !

This is incredibly well done! Like, the cuts are so perfectly on beat and the little pieces of dialogue add so much to it. Also... I've now seen quite a lot of versions of this song made for different franchises, and this is definitely the most fitting one so far

I love this so much❤❤I never realized how well this song works for them it fits so perfectly. I have a bit of a request...I've been dying to see someone do a merlin video to the song two of us- Louis Tomlinson and I think you'd be perfect to do it. Especially with a voice over for the part where he says " written in our DNA" I think them saying "our destiny" from the show would be even better
