This documentary on the Gwalior-Sheopur Kalan narrow gauge line was made in 2020. Due to the upgrade of the broad gauge line between Gwalior-Sheopur Kalan, the operation of trains on this narrow gauge line was stopped from 2020. The narrow gauge between Gwalior-Sheopur Kalan This railway line of line 2 feet gauge is 200 km long and was the longest narrow gauge line in the world. The construction of this line was completed in four phases - from Gwalior to Jora in January 1904, till Sabalgarh in December 1904, Birpur in November 1908. Till and in June 1909 the train finally reached Sheopur Kalan. The narrow gauge line between Gwalior-Sheopur Kalan of North Central Railway has the distinction of being the only 02 feet narrow gauge operational in the plains. This 200 kilometer line connects 200 villages and towns through its 28 stations.
