I was just looking up Sleazy P Martini and then half way through was like, No, Ok so this was just after Brockie passed. Gwar was, if anything a great musical act, not for the younger crowd, but talented for sure. I feel blessed to have been turned on to their music growing up. No band with all the makeup or masks will ever compare and Dave Brockie made that possible. He said in an interview that the best thing with Gwar is that if members leave they can just put the outfit on a new member, so Gwar will never die. If anyone reading this hasn't seen it yet which would be crazy, S.F.W. Gwar owns the title song and early Reese Witherspoon.

the way he stares off, you can tell. Remarkable character actor to stay in character and say with a straight face that he's glad Dave is dead, when in fact, the total opposite is true.

Check out Sleazy and Dave Brockie on Hot Seat, hosted by Wally George, the guy that started combat TV before guys like Jerry Springer and Morton Downey from back in the day. I miss that wacko show that started in '83.

back in the 1990's, I was honored to be dubbed "Sleazy D Lubarski," as my actual first name starts with a *"D"* (Stanley is the middle name and my father's name...the man who picked up myself, and 2 friends from my first Gwar concert in October 1992... R.I.P. Pops, you always took me along with Lee Harvey Oswald 😉)
