I get emotional listening to this and seeing it ........

I've seen my fair share of acts... Gwar hands down is the most entertaining live act. I met David brockie and I didn't even realize it because he was out of costume just having a drink at the bar when it was early and I asked him hey who's playing tonight and of course I was there to see gwar but I couldn't remember the other bands and he replied..."(the names of the other bands) and some shitty band called Gwar" 🤣😫🤣😫. Oh Dave. God bless you. I then realized it was him because he had credentials and after I walked away a group of people came up to him and basically began to worship him lol. But I had him for a nice little one-on-one and I'll remember that forever

I took my son to our first GWAR show in Grand Rapids, MI not long before Dave died. It was one of the best shared experiences we ever had, soaked to the bone. It was an honor to be "pissed on" by Oderous. We (my son and I) left the venue looking like Smurfs! Good times!

Scumdogs was my first Gwar album and Gwar was my first concert. Love this band.

These guys made me wanna do crazy, punk, rock, metal, everything in between. They rock!!

My son is 10 and if not for covid Gwar was to be his first concert this year. Their next live show. He and I will be there.

i only got to see them live once, but DAMN was it a helluva fun show!! ill never forget it!

These guys have an aura around them that I can’t describe. They aren’t good or bad. Or even middle of the road for that matter. They’re just….Gwar.

i live in Richmond Virginia which is of course where they are from..their practice place was at a self storage,,,i had a spot there where I set my massive drumkit up so i could practice.i was heard practicing one day by one of the band , he took me to their practice spot and DAMN that place was GWARED out to the moon.......sweet times........

This was my and my groomsmen's song deficated to my wife at my wedding. I intro'd the song asking my wife how long it'd be until I came home and she played this song and kicked me out. Hasn't happened yet, 7 years later. Took her to her first GWAR show nearly 20 years ago. Can't wait to take my daughter to her first!

Gwar ‘Live in Antarctica’ from almost 40 years ago is the real true official video for this. I got Slymenstra Hyman’s autograph at a New Year’s Eve concert in Hartford, CT ‘99/‘00 my 3rd time seeing them. She solicited me for it, I wasn’t interested on my own. She looked hot from a distance especially swallowing fire lol but up close was more like a junkie/homeless person aura. I wound up giving her $1 for autographed postcard type picture

RIP BROCKIE HAIL ODERUS I was in that pit. Great show(As always). By the end of the night I was soaked in sweat, blood and PCP! I barely survived... When the show was over I had to make my way through the sea of bodies. It was like walking through a patch of rotten melons soaked in cheap whiskey and PPR. I lost my shoe in some poor Bohabs face. AHHHH!!! Good times!!! Can't wait to see them again!

My very first GWAR show I won free tickets by winning a belching contest (I know they would be as proud as I was). Preparing for the show I was told to wear a white t-shirt for the pit, that was some of the best advice I've ever received. RIP Dave we miss you.
