In case no one understands what a “holla back girl” is, in the beginning of this video the girl calls out to Gwen and instead of Gwen hollering back she turns and laughs meaning she’s not with the back and forth bs. And this song was actually a diss to Courtney love calling Gwen “a cheerleader” which Gwen was nothing like growing up. Plus, it has double meaning in this case meaning “I don’t holler back, I’m gonna beat your ass instead.” And basically the lead cheerleader shouts something and the cheerleaders holler back by repeating what the lead cheerleader says. “Give me a B, Give me an A, Give me an N” etc.

Excellent song from my childhood and one of the best of 2005. I have never seen a 34-year-old woman (currently 53) like Gwen Stefani wear those youthful outfits, she even looked 20. Nowadays, gentlemen over 30 years already use without people judging it. At first it was very strange to see them like this but in more modern times I no longer see anything strange.
