Just now seeing this. I'm a No Doubt fan from Southern California. And I'm embracing Blake's music. Story about the lyrics to this song, Holla Back Girl, was that Courtney Love (Kurt Cobain's widow, ex-rock singer herself) was talking sh*t about Gwen in the media and said something to the effect of "oh she's acting like an annoying cheerleader...." So this was Gwen's response. :) I think the "steel magnolias" of TX and OK would love this song. I loved it ever since she released it!
