+Simply Visual There's nothing wrong with meditating, but I suppose it depends who or what you are meditating on? Meditation is an action which requires a focal point. If that focal point is yourself, I think that will lead to very self-centered emotions and actions. But if you are meditating on God and hearing His voice, it becomes prayer, and will only do good for your life, by getting to you think about more than just yourself.

+Simply Visual Meditation is emptying your mind by focusing and breathing. Prayer is communication to God (talking and listening). One is focused on self while the other is focused on someone outside of yourself. There is a difference.

I’m not sure you meant it the way it is worded but in other interviews she has always been religious not something that had just happened during that time in her life. She had her marriage to Gavin annulled around a year or so ago she wanted to have her marriage accepted by the Catholic Church.

And yes it's the classic phenomenon like being impressed of a singing or acting performance and then being disappointed by hearing this person talking.
