Note: if you want to play control decks, craft Korathi Heatwave as your neutral. It's one of the best removal in the deck since it answers everything. Just be careful, playing control in the game as beginner is pretty difficult since you have to swap your decks often to suit the meta. All control options are prone to getting irrelevant when the meta shift.

You only have to pay some dollars or lose a lot of matches with the "standard decks", I prefer the second option, but only if you have a big vollition.

To any new players first welcome to our annoying community. There are a lot of aspects to gwent that feel overwhelming at first and it takes time to understand how things work so if you want to get yourself into it then remember a free to play player (like me) will take a few months or a year to gather all the cards (you don't need to but it's fun to try something new every now and then). A good starter advice would be never ever mill cards especially epics and legendaries because 1. They are expensive 2. the game changes every month through balance changes so something that is viable today will get slapped next month so expirement, enjoy and send GG (except to nilfgard and mill every monster card you can because why not?).

@@aggelos8256i haven't looked at the settings of mill for a while now. is it the one that automatically mills the extra copies of cards and focuses on gathering scraps? If it is, then yes because you don't need the extra copies of cards to get premiums at the beginning (i have around 1100 cards and still have this setting and each keg gives minimum of 70 scraps at prestige 3) i don't know if you can get to pro rank with 1 good deck in this meta and if you can go for it because the reward at the end is worth it and will make you grow much faster.

@@aggelos8256 Gwent has a level reset system where once you level up past 60 you get back to 1 and get a prestige perk, you can get up to prestige 11 and get 10 bonus perks that give additional resources or overall quality of life improvements to your game. you can check all of them out in your contracts menu then the (levels )tab. first one gives you at least one rare card from the first 4 cards of a keg, rare cards have a higher value than common ones which means you get more resources in each keg you open.

The deck website includes the crafting cost of the cards that the game gives you. So Geralt of rivia is counted for inatance

MO, SK, NR and ST are the same. If there is a difficulty difference, it's negligible compared with the chosen archetype, rank etc. Only NG and SY are more difficult, because NG requires understanding opponent's strategy and SY requires spender/earner balance.

Syndicate doesn't have a Starter deck yet. It would be way too expensive to craft a full playable Syndicate deck right now

Buying it doesn't really guarantees a lot of cards, but what it does is giving you extra quests which you can do to farm reward point to get golds to buy kegs. My advice is buying the faction kegs so that you get the cards for the faction you want
