Ohhh... I like the Knut/Armor combo. That's very clever! I might explore with that a bit, Knut is a rarely played card... all the more reason to try it out! :)

In most matches, I would not commit so much in round one. The showcased games where I committed leader in R1 were very unusual, but certain matchups really benefit from winning the first round, such as Kelly and NR Witchers. Typically, its handles its own in round one with just a bunch of bronzes and Vesemir, on occassion Portal, but I usually hold it for later.

Thanks for the comment. Sorry I haven't posted a vid in a while. I use an updated version of this deck with reckless flurry. This season I went on a 24 - 1 run. Best I've ever had. When I hit Pro I queued 5 Viy matches in a row and lost interest. I have since modified again to be favourable with Viy. It's a pretty powerful deck overall, the new quartermaster is much better. @@danmeugaming Yes I check often if you have a new video. Viy has never been a problem for me this season because I have both Champion's Charge and Heatwave in deck. I hated that bug swarm and hated Eist (as a Skellige main player), that's why I didn't play for two months. Next month's changes look innteresting.

Yeah. You're right. I think the dry-pass there was still correct. But portal at 3 cards works, pretty powerful in the short round.

I've queued into two. I'm one and one. It depends, I don't have too many engines to lock, so if the opponent sleeps on the Quartermaster while setting up Nausicaa Sergeants... we have a lot of points in the first round, especially with the Geralts. And then bleed out Ball in the second round. Gotta love Lockdown.

It would have been the right play for him. It was an awkward situation because I needed to remove Ciri or I was toast, I really didn't have an option because if he would have won the round with card advantage there was a 0% chance of winning the game. He thought that he could still take the round so he continued. I also messed up the Adrenaline on the Mentor. Oh well. If he'd passed at 6, I would have bled round two for Kelly. But who knows. You're right though about the pass, thanks for watching.
