Well what a wonderful day it turned out to be - weather was hot and there was plenty on offer at the Gwyl Fwyd this year. We decided to avoid the potential parking chaos in town and caught a train in from Dinas.
From Y Stesion we walked along Cei Llechi where we found Luing Beef and had burgers there. We then crossed over the Aber Swing Bridge to check out what was happening at the family fun area - mini donuts were consumed before going to see the animals.
Walked back over to town and after stopping to listen to some entertainment at The Anglesey we made our way through the throng of people down to the "prom". Down near St Mary's Church we found a churros stand and yep you guessed it, we bought some churros!
After the churros pitstop we walked towards Victoria Dock but there wasn't much happening there so ended up walking back into town itself. Near Cyngor Gwynedd's office I found the "sausage man" - Sizzlers Prime Meats and bought some lovely looking sausages! With some sausages now bought we headed to Palace Street where we had another pitstop - this time for some Dutch proftjeres at Scoops of Caernarfon.
We ended the day by walking back through Hole in the Wall Street (I bought some Scotch eggs from Bonta Deli - yum!) and then up the High Street where we found some stilt walkers channelling their inner seagulls... watch the vid, it'll make more sense!
