I Love My Samsung Galaxy A80..Rotating camera working successfully since 2 years.. ✌🏻

I still remember I saw A80 in local train in mumbai and I was blown away by the display. It was soo gorgeous super amoled screen was not able to take my eyes off it

I planned to buy this phone, but the processor stopped me.

I bought this in 2020 lockdown from a local shop at 3 am in the morning 😂... and it still works great... although the back glass has completely shattered but the camera still works great... but the quality is just not good anymore... i have android 11 on it and last security patch was on November 2022

Bought it at 22k from flipkart and working flawlessly as of now. Great display, great camera setup with eye turning reverse popup mechanism and good build quality. A steal for 22k in 2020.

Still using Redmi K20, no issues with the pop-up cam till date, I love its Amoled display.

I bought it for 22k on BBD of 2020.. Used it for 3 months and the camera setup became defective.. sold it and bought M51.. But except the camera everything was top notch on it.. I would have surely kept it if it didnt have that rotating camera system..

i purchased it on for 22k in 2020 it was a grt phone with avg camera and battery. Though camera was its highlight the quality of images were good but nothing impressive. Sold it after 10 months and tried MI and realme phones then but this yr bought s21 fe....simply loved the oneui

I am currently using this galaxy A80. Bought it 2 years ago. At 22k . 8GB ram 128gb internal was great at that time period. Amoled display during 2019 was extremely great. 48 mp front camera was excellent The large Amoled display 6.9 was great.

I still remember this phone in 2019 December I found this phone at reliance digital shop and got attracted by the beautiful clean and big display but get shocked after watching its rollable camera. Samsung Display is lob❣️

I remember when this phone was launched. It was a brand new take on the concept of pop up cameras which were a trend at that time. Who knew the concept will slowly die. There is an asus phone with a similar or, perhaps even a better camera flip design. It's called the Asus Zenfone 8 Flip. It's a pretty recent phone as well and worth checking out!

Watching it on LG G7+ ThinQ Bought it in 2020, I also considered samsung A80 and I do agree with you as these company (Sony, LG) they always did something unique but, as we look thing that are cheap, public tends to shift to the chinese and other cheap stuff.

Dude, I've had this phone for four years, and it's still working perfectly. I just got the Z Flip 6, but this old thing is still going strong. Everything in that device still works like new.

I have this A80 in my family. I think got it in FK deal. Phone is going good. Display and camera is good enough till this date. Battery backup is not good though. Overall now it's working as basic phone only. No hardcore gaming, basic tasks runs fine.

When it was launched I was attracted by this phone’s design But not the practicality Fragile risk, the motor may jam, or by mistake if the phone falls during selfie is not less than a nightmare……

I bought it on June 2020..still now , not facing any issue ..the camera and the display both are awesome...just the battery is not upto the mark .. Now it's running on Android 11 one UI 3.1.. And the main part is that I am not interested on moving to a new phone by using this awesome camera mechanism phone

My mother has this phone since the launch, and it works fine but it gets drained quickly it has android 11. I have played PUBG for 1 year on it and gave 40fps when cooled. And it still gets updated but it has gotten slow.

In 2019, A series was like baap in their price segment . In 2020, it wasn't that much interesting except high resolution camera setup. In 2021, mixed. In 2022, again A series is having some good sales. In 2023, waiting for some crazy good A series. This is my opinion 🤗

Bought it from flipkart for 21999 in jume 2020. Still working flawlesly, with amazing screen and knox security. Last security patch update was in july 2022. Presently at Android 11. For camera... its motor could get jammed so clean it in some time gap. Having rotating camera of 48MP gives great selfies.

Yeh hai mere paas. Jab isske videos aaye launch time pe tabhi isse pyaar ho gaya tha. Par price bohot hi zyaada thi. Fir lockdown ke time mujhe 29k (22k waale sale ka pataa hi nai lagaa tha mujhe) ki dikhi toh turant order kar diya. Fir yeh rakhke apna Vivo Nex papa ko de diya. A80 abhi bhi mast chalta hai, although abhi use toh nai karta. Just kabhi kabhi on karke apps update kar leta hu. Abhi shayad security updates bhi aane bandh ho gaye hai. Bohot hi pyaara phone hai.

With Samsung's RnD, I am sure the device won't have any long term issues, but this mechanism was surely expensive. Still commendable that they made such innovative design. In my opinion the best camera mechanism was the flip camera by Asus in Zenfone flip. Since the camera in Zenfone flip was completely outside, you can manually flip the camera even if some structural issue arise. Alas, even that mechanism is discontinued.

I remember a similar phone from Asus zenfone series (I think it was series 6). It had different camera mechanism but same that back camera becomes front camera.

I remember oppo phone has rotating camera setup earlier than anyone, chinese & korean manufacturers brought so many innovations to smartphone world.
