Hey ULT owner here. I will say that the ULT’s deliver a lot of bass naturally so when you’re eq’ing, leaving the lows at neutral will give them a punchy sound and moving the lows forward will give them a boomier sound which I think is on the muddier side. I usually keep the lows at neutral and push up the mids and highs a bit while maxing clear bass and trust me you will feel some rattling. Def nothing like my crusher evo when It comes to bass tho

This is so true because this will vary on different people's tastes. The Sony ULT WEAR (WH-ULT900N) headphones have real bass. The Skullcandy Crusher headphones have fake bass.

@@tacticalpencil Far more comfortable than crusher anc2. I own both headphones and honestly I'd give the bass to ULT. This is mostly because crusher anc 2's bass is mostly artificial from vibrations

Canadian $ sale price for Amazon Prime day July 16/17 2024: Sony wh-ch720n $149.99+tax with 10% cashback at BestBuy CA through Rakuten (on before tax amount) Sony ult wear $249.99+tax plus 10% cashback - [This is what I bought and it was $258.51 all-in with the Rakuten Cashback confirmed received, Ontario taxes] Sony 1000xm5 $399.99+tax plus 10% cashback Sony 1000xm4 $429.99 (wasn't on sale) Note: Amazon CA prices were $1-2 cheaper but did not include the Rakuten cashback. The exchange rate today for CAD to USD was 1:0.73 so I paid the equivalent of $188.90 USD for my ult wears ($161.41 USD before taxes). CAD to Euro was 1:0.67, CAD to GBP 1:0.56, CAD to AUD 1:1.09 Not a bad deal but based on other comments, not an all-time low.

This is the video I needed - Had the wh-ch700 for over 4 years - absolutely love it, but the charging port stopped working - Im looking at the wh-ch720, extremely lightweight, yet captures a solid sound stage. Miles above the weak Bose q45s... The xm4s Im working with now but find them a bit underwhelming so far. The Ults were cool, but the heat in the earcups was a killer for me after 2 hrs of wearing.

another thing to note about the XM4s (not sure about the rest) - LDAC won't work if you have multi device turned on in the app.

I've been trying to replace my XM3 for years. But I can't seem to find a new pair that I like. I've bought and returned XB910, 720N, XM4, XM5 and ULT. I still prefer the sound of my XM3 over all of those. I was considering keeping the 720N's though, because the where really comfortable and they sounded very good for their price. But with no case it was a no-go for me.

Xm-4s are 235$ in my country and 720n 110$my budget is around 120-150 right now but if the xm4 are worth the price I'd get them should I or should i get something else?

Try both of them in a store, but i think the xm4 have way better anc and can be tuned more. They also have more features, but it depends if you care for this stuff. If you think the 720n are good enough, save some money or get the ult wear since it's a mix of both kinda.

Yes it is I’ve owned a pair myself. I ended up selling them for some reason though. But I’m getting the xm4’s anyway so I’ll be covered for a couple years

I feel stupid but I still have the XB-950N1’s but I kept them mint so I ain’t mad ! Any friends that put them on ask if they’re some kind of professional headphones 🤣 but I get it. The bass pressure is dope and it’s gone down through the generations and it’s audible to you Skull Candy lovers. I’m keepin em although huge and a bit ug in this day and age. Got ZMF’s for the real ish💩 yooou knooow !!
