obviously as a tomoon i have a lot of words about the situation, but i feel like this song explains the complicated feelings a lot of us and even oneus feel about the situation, if you read the lyrics, they’re heartbreaking considering everything that has happened **note the time i’m writing this i’ve only seen unofficial translations on twitter so they could be totally off

I think things happen for a reason. I am sad that Ravn is gone but I believe it was his decision as the oldest. Hwanwoong even said on a concert that he felt it was too rash a decision but what can you do? :) I am just happy that both (Raven and the group) are moving on and we can still enjoy the content they are putting out. :) Also ERASE ME is soooo freakin good! I love it!!

Talking about Ravn leaving the group, it kind of infuriates me because it’s happening again with one of my favorite K-pop groups(Meaning Soojin from G-Idle). Honestly I don’t know what’s truly going on behind the scenes but, what it looks like to me is these K-pop companies are just throwing away integral members like no one’s business. No hiatus, no second chance, nothing. At the end of the day I’m just tired and I’m going to miss Ravn.

Honestly, I was ready to see ONEUS have comebacks and perform as five because I knew Ravn was going to enlist soon. For me all six of them were and will always be integral parts of a whole. Something very unique that made ONEUS who they are. The fact that they had two voices in the lower range, two in the middle range and two in the higher range was just perfect. Not to mention how iconic Ravn's rap parts have always been. And how he and Leedo complemented each other. But what makes this so heartbreaking and almost unbearable to witness is that now I associate trauma with the five of them. All because of how the fandom reacted, betrayed Youngjo and to this day some people keep spreading misinformation about him. Like five members is one thing but five members because the fans demanded he should leave before any investigatios even took place, literally tried to erase him, from every photo and even edited him out of his own songs... So yeah.... it's really hard. Interesting though, that if you listen to the album, especially Erase Me and Unforgettable, they really made some parts sound like his parts. But all trauma aside, I like the song. I have only two qualms with it though. The reverb, the autotune robotic sound - absolutely hate it, especially when it's on the main vocals (the 1st verse) and the edm sound in the chorus. I'm an old-school kinda gal, I don't like how classical instruments sound with edm elements. I think a band-like, rock-ish sound would have been better, in my opinion. The robotic vocals are the same problem that I have with Unforgettable (the pre-release song), but I love the instrumental. So in the end, my favourite songs from the album are Intro: Lethe and Halley's Comet. Oh, there's also a track called Echo, co-written by Leedo. Very interesting steamy lyrics, but the sound, the genre (rnb-ish?) is not my cup of tea.

Oneus is still so underrated it makes me sad. They are so good they deserve so much more.

I love this comeback and this mini album! The instrumental of Erase Me is amazing. As for the whole Ravn thing, RBW did place him on hiatus. From the sounds of it, they had planned to keep him on hiatus until the investigation was complete, buy k-netizens threatened to boycott all things Oneus related so Ravn chose to leave the group.

Wow, I feel like crying every time I hear his name. Tbh I miss him like crazy and I still need time to fully support Oneus as 5 members but this comeback is so good! I would love if you can react to Unforgettable, it has such a deep meaning and the MV is gorgeous.

They did mention this is a mix of Valkyrie and Same Scent. I really hope you react to their B side "Unforgettable" MV. The lyrics are really sad if you think about their situation and memories together. The Ravn situation is really complicated but I will support them always. It's heart breaking for the fans and the members. I hope they will be happy forever like in their fanchant for Erase me .

This album reflects how they feel about the situation: the pain of loss that makes you want to forget it all, not wanting to stay stuck in the past that is painful now, trying to erase it all but that makes you feel empty, eventually the memories keep coming back and with it comes the longing, in the end accepting that you can't forget, that this will always be a part of you and choosing to treasure the memories even if you can never go back to how it was back then. With this and Ravn's Demian, I feel like we got a lot of insight into their experience. I expected the MV to do more with the human-to-statue (or vice versa) idea but the visuals were pretty cool! I think Ravn definitely left by his own decision - RBW emphasized that _a lot_ and Ravn can sue them if they lied about it, and even the way Ravn talks about it in Demian supports that. Imo RBW wanted to keep him in hiatus, but he probably felt like the scandal was dragging the whole group down and decided that him alone losing everything was better than the whole group losing everything they worked so hard to achieve. I think to him it was an inevitable decision because the investigation and legal process would take a long time and until then he wouldn't be able to recover his reputation, so he took it pre-emptively so that Oneus suffer as little as possible because of the scandal, even if it broke all of their hearts. Now it seems like they've all made peace with not being together anymore even if they still miss each other.

I love this reaction❤️ Ngl I have mixed feeling for this comeback, since the company put Ravn on hiatus first but then they announced his voluntary departure in a short time, I feel like it’s Ravn’s own decision to leave the group to avoid bringing any harm to the group. For now, we only know that the company found malicious edits from the accuser and they’re gonna go through legal process, so there’s a large chance that the accusations are fake (there’s another person who was involved in the case and she claimed that she would sue the accuser as well) Still, the company is doing a poor job in updating us with the current situation, which leads to hatred spreading around the net😢I really hope the company will make an announcement soon such that the hate could stop, we’ve already lost enough talented people in K-pop. It’s good to know that Ravn hasn’t given up yet cuz he starts getting active on Instagram and KZfaq (he even released 6 song that he produced!!)

i felt really bad. really bad actually. i’ve been with oneus since 2019/2020 and ravn inspired me a lot. i got attached to them so badly that imagining losing a oneus member or losing them all was so painful and turned into my biggest fear. i still love them. but for sure this isn’t the oneus i met 3 years ago

I also think the mv is too simple, but ONEUS always delivers and they had a pre single for this mini album. About Ravn the company deal really bad with it, one week after basically the accusation was prove false but Korea don't deal well with scandals, for me if RBW puts him back I dont mind at all. A strategy they could use too was send him to military he has the age until his back the innocense was prove it and rumours could be long gone and forgotten.

I saw oneus in concert in January 18,2023 in Orlando in FLORIDA where I live and let me tell you they are amazing performers and all of the members are gorgeous...and even made eye contact with leedo and I just froze lol but highly recommend seeing them in concert

Yes, it's not really a common thing for people over *there* to talk about old member who left in the similar situation - rumors on social media. Many of their fans didn't simply let the past be the past: they want to erase him, like he was never there in the group, so THANK YOU, again. The company so far hasn't made any updates regarding him (even thou they assured that they would if anything occurred), but through debunking evidences we find that we have reasons to be continuing to wait for him to officially talk for himself. That much I can tell you. I feel like they are travelling to memory lane for a visit before they walk into the future, so it's kinda like a closure for them, and for those who love all 6 of the members. Once again, thank you for reacting to Oneus. They truly did an outstanding job in this cb.

Of course it is hard, really hard not seeing and hearing ravn anymore, and due to the kpop culture of...you know.. when a member leave a group is like he/she never existed. So it was horrible not having news of him or the group 😕. BUT, when he started uploading content in his ig account and music on his youtube channel (which you should listen 😊) it was a relief 😅 for us tomoon. Love your videos ❤

For the MV, I agree, it felt like something was lacking. And while I understand that it is probably the concept, I feel like the cuts between the clips weren't smooth enough? The first time I watched it, I was pretty confused as to what was going on. But the song was good, the album was solid, and overall, Oneus did deliver! It feels weird to have a comeback without RAVN, but... I believe everything happens for a reason. Whatever the future holds for both him and Oneus, I pray for their successes ❤

I am of the following theory: Since the departure of member "Ravn" from the group, I see the clear signs and hints that this mv has a bit of that controversy, although I think that the songs were written deliberately in order not to make it too obvious so you can deny that possibility. But if we factor in the possibility of it being about/for Ravn, then the most likely interpretation would be that Erase Me is his point about you, while parts of that could still apply to the Kindred as well. The general concept is that of the Greek story of Pygmalion, where an artist falls in love with his own sculpture that he has created. Then there's also the Pygmalion effect, which is a bit like a self-fulfilling prophecy about meeting others' expectations. This can be seen as a metaphor for the kpop industry as a whole, where idols are treated like objects and expected to live up to others expectations... otherwise they will literally be erased. In my humble personal opinion, this song works on all these levels and neither interpretation would necessarily cancel out the other. It fits perfectly with Ravn's backstory, but it also nicely describes what the other members must have been going through during that time. They weren't allowed to openly cry, some of their own fans treated them like toys, calling their honest tears "cute" while refusing to see the pain behind those tears. Sorry for this long explanation. I hope I made sense, and of course, I could be totally wrong. 😅....(And I hope I didn't attract any antis 🙃). FOR ME THE BEST MV OF ONEUS' CAREER.👏👏❤

I remember a couple of years ago that Ravn had gone on hiatus for mental health issues (as reported back then). I have no idea why he's gone now because they've been quite about it. My guess is that the hiatus and the time after that was his second chance so whatever happened to cause him to leave or be dropped probably has a lot to do with having the hiatus in the past. It's just a guess because I cannot find anything in English to explain it. No matter what, I hope everyone is okay. I hope Ravn's okay. I hope the team is okay and can continue on. I'd hate for them to lose all of the progress they've made with all of their hard work over the years. Good luck to everyone!

I really like it but I would say that sometimes it feels like there are about 3 or 4 different songs going on, it doesn't feel the most cohesive song but I can't help but still really enjoy it. It's surprising. I agree about the video, you can do simple/basic videos a bit more interestingly than this. But they boys did great with their performance.

I think the scandal was a complete lie. However, Ravn's when part of the company, was writing songs and producing for them the whole time. He is now an independent artist in his own right. His music is available on Spotify and KZfaq. I think he is still on good terms with the company but he decided to make lemonade out of lemons and bravely go out on his on. We all still love Ravn.

I miss Ravn and he was an integral part of Oneus' sound, but I really do wish To Moons would stop bringing him up everywhere cause the fact is Oneus are now 5 and ppl need to respect the members and move on. Oneus is and always will be concept geniuses but I agree with you. I didn’t care for the MV at all. To me it seemed too similar to Same Scent in the set, feel and outfits even. Oneus’ MVs are usually top notch but this one was too simple. I like the song too, but I feel like there’s something missing. It feels incomplete and lacking energy in both the vocals and choreo. And I’m not just saying that because of Ravn, but as a whole it feels like it could have been so much more. That being said, I can’t wait to see them perform this live on music shows and concerts. Hopefully it’ll change my mind about the song

Je suis d'accord, le clip n'est pas exceptionnel et cela aurait pu être beaucoup mieux, mais la chanson est géniale pour moi. Vraiment originale comparée à tout ce qu'on a ces derniers temps. Jamais déçu par ONEUS pour ça. Ce son "EDM" est vraiment bienvenu et parfaitement mélangé au reste de la chanson. Je ne sais pas si cela plaira aux plus jeunes mais moi j'adore, ça me rappelle de bons souvenirs et me ramène une quinzaine d'années en arrière aux années collège/lycée. ^^ Les autres chansons du mini-album sont aussi très bonnes. Un retour qui ne me déçoit pas. :)

Honestly since the members themselve talk about Oneus as five now and because they want to leave the past behind I will respect that and continue to support them as five. They situation sounded complicated to me but from everything I have witnessed the members distanced themselves from Ravn and even their brother-group Onewe did. Like Ravn had a few songs with the member CyA and CyA deleted them all when the controversy first happened. They all know more about the situation than any fan ever will so I have no problem leaving Ravn in the past too tbh.

Loved the B.A.P reference! As for Ravn, at the Seoul concert Leedo specifically asked to only speak about the five of them from now on so that's what I intend to do. They try their best to put the whole thing behind them and look noticeably uncomfortable whenever someone mentions him to them so I hope people stop. I have nothing against people supporting him I just hope they do it separately.
