Our first PLANNED release with our new anisong chorus, HANAbira Prism. HANAbira Prism is an offshoot of our vocaloid group, HANAbira-gumi, except that we cover anisong releases~ We released Kokoro no Hane from Dragonball Kai with this group a few weeks ago, but that was truthfully just an indies release that happened to be finished at the same time that I created this group. THIS, however, is our first REAL release that was planned and thought out in the context of an anisong chorus.
Of course for the first "real" song we had to do Sailor Moon! Most of our choruses will be smaller than this, but because we chose Sailor Star Song, we had 14 characters to fill and because it was the first song, I figured it was okay to break my own rule about smaller groups. Luckily, it was surprisingly quick to mix, partially because everyone turned in their lines quickly and on time so I was able to work on it a little at a time. I know you guys hate this song now after our throats took a tearing into from how UNGODLY HIGH THIS SONG IS, but I think it turned out super well and it was evident that everyone really did their best in their lines.
A HUGE shout-out to Shion, who jumped in to make a video for this. I did the tag images myself, but she did the AMV playing in the background and put the tags on the AMV itself and she is a rock star for taking all that initiative. Also thanks to K, who spent many, MANY frustrating hours with me trying to find cohesive images to make the tags out of. Seriously, internet, what happened to you? When I was 10, there were billions of SM images online. :[ RIP Geocities and Angelfire websites...
ALSO WHO IS EXCITED FOR THE SAILOR MOON REBOOT even though we don't know when it's happening anymore. I'm going to be attending the reboot of the musicals in September and am so ;laksjdfklasd excited and listening to this just pumps me up even more. AHHH I love it, thank you to everyone who participated, and look forward to our next songs! Anyone can be asked to join in a chorus at any time, so keep an eye out! :3
