fun bit of background on HEAT: Michael Mann is a HUGE gun guy, all of his productions wind up with really iconic and on-point armory work, he was incorporating IPSC and proto-3gun style blocking in scenes dating back to miami vice. Vincent from Collateral is probably why I went with a USP, and HEAT is why I'll always want an FN FNC.

Emily Blunt's character was there to remind you that the things that happened were insane. Every action movie we're numb to someone getting shot in the face, but in Sicario, Blunt's character reacts genuinely to show the audience the true brutality of it all.

SEF all the way for me. Full auto is so controllable that you can still do single shots or 2 and 3 round bursts on command with ease. And that contoured grip SEF lower fits my hand like a glove.

If I did not have a SCAR17, X95, two Daniel Defense Uppers, KISS Vector(s), Remington 700 in Accuracy International chassie and more Pistols then I can hold at one time, I would pick up a HK MP5. But since most of us have to pick and choose and can’t buy all of our ‘dream’ guns, I will wait for the MP5 clone from Palm State Palmetto. I did not rush out to see Sicario #1, I will probably wait to see #2 also, and watch it in 4K TV.

Emily Blunt was an okay device to represent us as the viewer being thrown into the world that Del Toro operates in. I think she was a necessary character to contrast the films stand out performances. I get what you're saying though 😂

The 30mm ras mount is the right answer for the m3. It sits lower and allows for co-witness.

Hey, Random question.. Were you able to get that installed without scratching the finish on the receiver where it comes into contact with the inside of the side rails? I just installed an RAS on mine and I tried everything, but couldn’t figure a way the get it on without scratching/scuffing up the paint. The fit/tolerances are so tight.

good video bro , i just bought the PTR 9CT and first thing i got before even picked up the weapon system was ordered this Rail . got it for 345 shipped from Brownells . i just did the sb brace for now but i ordered a O,mega 9k for it also i am prob gonna rock a Aimpoint M5 on top of it since i have the full rail system welded on . what do you think of the Binary trigger i can't do full auto ? thanks

It’s not „the classic Pictogramm“ my friend - it’s for the international market... introduced late 80´2 ... since the 60ś Germans are perfectly happy with S (Sicher -Safe), E (Einzelfeuer -Singleshot) and 3F (Dreischissautomatik- 3round burst) and/ or F (Feuer- Fullfunswitch) ... they all work just Fine... regardless of the „print“ 😉☺️☺️

You "feel" or think they switched between a Mp5 with a suppressor and an SD?? Yeah, that was pretty obvious to all of us. MP5 KAC RAS with suppressor vs MP5 SD in the same scene. I have one of each. A pre 86 fa and a post sample SD.

I really liked Emily Blunt's character, and her partner. I think that her by the book approach as opposed to the Delta and CIA types was a perfect play off. The RAS is easy to mount for me and I like it. I think you might like the B&T shorter vert grip, you don't need one as long as the one you have on your MP5. Maybe less talk about what "looks cool" and more talk about functionality? And you never got into the scenes where Del Toro's MP5 magically changed from an SD to the one like you have... That's why I watched.
