The Newari language should be recognized as a classical language(शास्त्रीय भाषा) of Nepal. It has its own script , rich heritage and old literature. In India also Tamil, Telegu,Oridya,Kannada, Malayalam, Sanskrit languages are considered as classical language. In addition to the Bengali language, the Bengali speakers are also seeking the classical status of their language in India. In Europe also Latin,Greek are considered as classical language. These languages literatural tradition is old and are not borrowed from other languages . In Nepal ,Newari language has followed all the creteria to be considered as classical language. It is important for Newaris to stand up for their language to be classified as classical language.

Jyapus are Kiratis. Now all Kiratees must unite. We Kiratis must rebuild our country Nepal. Dr. Jagman Gurung in his interview video explains that Jyapus are Kiratis. Among the Newar communities, Jyapus are part of Kirat families. That is the Maharjan, Dangol, Singh, Suwal, Prajapati, Tandukar, Byanjankar, Gopali, Balami are Kiratis. These are the same Kiratis who stayed behind in the Kathmandu valley while other Kiratis resettled in other parts of Nepal when the Licchavis came to power. Kiratis must unify and take back power from the Hindu Brahminbadi/Bahunbadi government. This way Nepal will take the path of development and progress. This way Nepali people do not have to leave Nepal in search of jobs in other countries. dont talk bullshit. the newars are in general descendents of kirats. all newar castes are, in varying degrees, mixed-race groups. it is stupid to make historical claims without sufficient evidence. it is dangerous if such false claims create serious divisions in society. be responsible and be scholarly. we don't need your bullshit to know who we are.

If you have doubt with Dr. Gurung then at least ask and challenge Dr. Keshebman Shakya. Dr Shakya said that Newari's, especially the Jyapus, consider King Yalamber as their great great grandfather. He said that Jyapus are Kirati. Grow up, kid.

@@ajayamali3952 listen up. Everyone is entiltle to his own opinion. But Jyapus are Kiratis and this is a fact. We can see from their face and even behavior and lifestyle. Now all Kiratese must unify and fight for change in Nepal. You see for the last 600 years, Nepalese have been falling at the feet of Indian brahmins. Now we must change all this. We must replace Indian Brahmins at the Pashupatinath temple and let the Kirati priest be in charge of the temple. Lord Shiva is the God of the Kirat people and so it is the right thing to do that Kirati priest managed the Pashupatinath temple. I hope all Jyapus support me because Jyapus are Kiratis. Nepal is not part of India. why should we need Indian Brahmins to be the caretaker of our holy temple?
