Understanding the laws of the Universe , being true Nature at play , realising and releasing one’s potential whilst keeping the ego at bay, Aikidō is when all fighting and struggle is distant in memory, regardless of how strong the wind blows the coat does not come off , yet when the sun shines it becomes more easy to remove .

Had Master Tohei not split from Aikikai the essence of Aikido would not be lost in the midst of dance-like repertoire. If you should observe the way current Doshu, Moriteru performed he merely copied his daddy. I got a chance to observe him on one of my trips to Tokyo. I could tell you his grandfather would’ve be disappointed. That’s also the reason why O’sensei appointed Master Tohei as the chief instructor and not his son, Kisshomaru.
