Xurome [Khurome] (хъуромэ) is an ancient pre-Christian festival that was transformed and adapted into Christmas when the Kabardians converted to Christianity in the Middle Ages.
The Orthodox Christian Kabardians of Mozdok (Kabarda Minor) still chant “Xurome” as a Christmas carol/prayer. They celebrate Christmas on the 7th of January every year.

This has nothing to do with Christmas, those melodies are festivity melodies, and were played and danced at Harvesting seasons, which is in summer Circassians are Muslims, and has nothing to do with Christianity

Yes I'm Australian,I'm Irish German English ancestry,but I'm 48 years of age and Never been married and have no children,I'm very sad of this.I would love to marry a women from Circassian people,25 to 30 years of age.I really love the passion and pride and their strength of the Circassian people.I don't mind if they are Muslim or Christian, Absolutely amazing people, beautiful.I thank them for their entertainment 🙂👍♥️💐

@@nightshadow4203нет . Черкесы не все рабы аллаха или паства Иисуса ( моздокские кабардинцы ) , есть и те кто не предал родную свою религию , которой очень много тысяч лет . И мы возродимся благодаря своей религии ХАКУ ХАБЗЭ БЗЭ ( тут нет места чужеродным рабским религиям , а только истинная наша древнейшая вера .)

@@Doctor-uf2ec Они были язычниками, потом стали мусульманами, и никогда не были христианами, и очень малое христианское меньшинство, не превышающее 2%, не позволяет нам делать обобщения, что черкесы были христианами, а если они были таковыми, то где являются ли сотни или даже тысячи церквей, которые должны были оставаться свидетелями своего христианства?

@@Cool_Night_Kingкакой бред вы пишите , подавляющее большинство черкесов - мусульмане , маленькая часть , гиляхстанцы Малой Кабарды - христиане , и совсем небольшая часть исповедует , ( частично) язычество , и то , в каких то незначительных обрядах остался .
